Chevrolet has announced plans to introduce the Spark EV at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The company previously confirmed the car will feature a lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that produces 114 bhp (85 kW). The Spark EV will be sold in "limited quantities" in select U.S. and global markets.

Chevrolet will also showcase an updated version of the MyLink infotainment system that will debut in the 2014 Impala. The company hinted the system will offer "new levels of personalization and more seamless smartphone integration."

The models will be shown alongside the Malibu Turbo, the Sonic RS, the facelifted Traverse and the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition.
