Porsche crest has been relaunched for the 356 and early 911 models. This video shows how it's made.
The Porsche crest for the 356 and early 911s has been relaunched by Porsche Classic.
Between 1952 and 1998 there were three slightly different versions of the logo which are now being faithfully reproduced in the right material and original color. The video shows a part of the complex production process necessary to bring back to life the classic emblem.
This new "old" Porsche crest has spent 240 hours in the salt spray chamber and underwent various quality tests including the simulation of a stone impact using a ballistic firing range at the firm’s R&D center in Weissach.
