BMW has released some teaser photos of the highly anticipated M6 GranCoupe. Full reveal scheduled for next month.

Following yesterday’s leaked photos, BMW has decided to release some teaser photos of the M6 GranCoupe.

However, a comprehensive gallery with the car is already available via BimmerPost. A full official reveal will be made next month according to BMW, before the car makes its public debut in January at 2013 NAIAS in Detroit. It will arrive in dealerships in the fall of next year as a 2014MY.

No technical details were revealed during the M Night when the M6 GranCoupe was presented, but it’s a known fact that the same V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine is hiding beneath that hood. Most likely it will produce the same amount of power as the M6 Coupe and Convertible models, meaning 560 HP (412 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm).

Power will be sent to the wheels via a six-speed M Double Clutch Transmission that will propel it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in about 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
