Chrysler's spokesman Scott Brown has dismissed the recent rumors regarding Lancia going out of business.

German automotive news website Automobilwoche launched a rumor a few days ago about Lancia going out of business.

It turns out that this was a false rumor as Chrysler’s spokesman Scott Brown said that the Italian brand will live on, with the Epsilon produced in Italy while the rest of the lineup will be manufactured in North American by Chrysler.

Even though Lancia will still continue to exist, its glory days with the Delta Integrale and Stratos have passed and all that’s left is a struggling carmaker offering rebadged Chrysler models. Although its demise seems to be avoided for now, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if Fiat will decide to pull the plug in the future.
