Citroen’s Racing division has announced this week the DS3 Regional Rally Car (RRC) for private drivers. It has a 275 hp 1.6-liter turbo engine.
Citroen’s Racing division has announced this week the DS3 Regional Rally Car (RRC) for private drivers. This WRC-inspired rally car is eligible to participate in various competitions like WRC-2, MERC and ERC.
It features a reinforced body with welded, multi-point roll cage and a MacPherson suspension with three-way adjustable shock absorbers. The vehicle rides on 18-inch (tarmac) or 17-inch (gravel and snow) wheels with Michelin tires.
Under the hood it has a 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct-injection engine with a specific engine flywheel and a 30mm booster flange. This power unit outputs 275 hp (205 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. It's braking system consists of front (350mm tarmac / 300mm gravel) ventilated discs with four-piston calipers and rear 300mm discs with four-piston calipers.
