Toyota has announced plans to introduce three customized Avalons at the SEMA Motor Show.
The DUB Magazine Avalon has a Brilliant Black exterior with a custom body kit and tinted taillights. There's also a lowered suspension, a mesh grille and matte black 22-inch TIS wheels. The black theme carries over to the cabin as it is equipped with black leather / suede seats, a black suede headliner and a JBL audio system.
On the other hand, the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Avalon has a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that promises to substantially "bump engine power and torque" while maintaining smooth drivability. The model also has lowering springs, high-performance brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Besides the performance tweaks, the sedan benefits from an upgraded interior with perforated leather seats, a black "technical knit" headliner and a JBL GreenEdge surround sound system.
Likewise, the Avalon HV Edition features most of the TRD's equipment but eschews the supercharged engine for a hybrid powertrain. As such, the car has eco-inspired accents including blue lighting units and blue-silver metallic leather seats.
