BMW of North American has announced this week the X6 Performance Edition and the 6-Series Coupe Frozen Silver Edition.
BMW of North American has announced this week the X6 Performance Edition and the 6-Series Coupe Frozen Silver Edition. They plan on making 100 units of the SUV, half of them based on the X6 xDrive35i (priced at $81,695) and the other half based on the X6 xDrive50i (priced at $92,895). The 6-Series Coupe will get 55 copies based on the 650i ($99,295) and 650i xDrive ($102,695). Deliveries are expected to commence in mid-December.
The special X6 comes with the M Performance Package that brings an additional 15 hp (11 kW) and 30 lb-ft (40 Nm) of torque for the xDrive35i and an extra 40 hp (29 kW) and 30 lb-ft (40 Nm) for the xDrive50i. Wearing a Pearl Silver metallic paint, the car rides on 20-inch Y-spoke alloys and has black chrome exhaust tips. Inside it has black Alcantara and leather upholstery with orange stitching.
The limited edition 6-Series comes with a silver paint finish with contrasting black mirror caps. It is equipped with 20-inch Ferric Gray / gloss M Performance alloys and benefits from the M Sport Package. Black Nappa leather and Grapy Popular wood can be found inside the cabin, along with a heated steering wheel and a ski storage bag.
