Holden has revealed its version own of the 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney this week. The Colorado 7 will be available exclusively with a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine that produces 177 hp (132 kW) and 346 lb-ft (470 Nm) of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. It consumes 7.2 liters / 100 km (32.6 mpg US or 39.2 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions of 252 g/km.
It features an independent double wishbone front suspension and a five-link live axle rear axle configuration, with a part-time 4WD system with transfer case and a limited slip differential. The Colorado 7 also benefits from the Hill Descent Control system and offers up to 1830 liters of cargo room.
The Holden Colorado 7 will be sold in two trim levels: LT and LTZ. The base model comes with a reversing camera, 16-inch alloys, Rear Park Assist, aluminum roof rails, as well as body-colored front & rear bumpers, door handles and mirrors with side turn signal. The LTZ version adds 18-inch wheels, LED taillights, projector headlamps, chrome side window mouldings and chrome power folding side mirrors.
Inside the cabin of the LT version there is a leather multi-function steering wheel, USB and Bluetooth support, 6-speaker sound system, third row armrest storage and a rear auxiliary power outlet. The LTZ includes leather seat trim, 8-speaker audio system with amplifier, chrome gear shifter and door handles, plus a single zone climate control.
