Designed to appeal to fuel conscious fleets, the model has a 2.0-liter TDI engine that produces 114 HP (84 kW). It enables the van to average 44.8 mpg UK (37.3 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 166 g/km - an improvement of 7.1 mpg UK (5.9 mpg US) and 32 g/km over the standard TDI model.
There's also a Transporter BlueMotion Technology that features an engine start/stop system, brake energy regeneration and low-rolling resistance tires. It is powered by a 2.0-liter TDI engine that has outputs of 84 HP (62 kW) and 114 HP (84 kW). Both average 40.4 mpg UK (33.6 mpg US) and have CO2 emissions of 184 g/km which are improvements of 2.7 mpg UK (2.2 mpg US) and 14 g/km over the standard TDI variants.
The Transporter BlueMotion Technology starts at £17,290, while the Transporter BlueMotion costs £18,770 (excluding VAT).
