Volvo has officially announced that the production of the C30 model has ended. No direct replacement available for now.
Volvo has put an end to the production of the C30 even though the Swedish automaker doesn’t have a direct replacement for the firm’s entry-level model. Until a new model will be out, an alternative to this could be the five-door V40 hatchback.
Since Volvo is trying to get rid of the remaining C30 units, chances are that they will be offering some special promotions to boost sales. As a reminder, the C30 came out back in 2006 with a design inspired from the SCC concept car.
Those of you that are living in the United States might still be able to get the C30 Polestar limited edition. Only 250 units will be built, carrying a price tag of $32,445 that includes the $895 destination charge. Under the hood it has the same 2.5-liter turbocharged engine but with 250 hp (186 kW) and 273 lb-ft (369 Nm) of torque.
