Nissan has a tendency to make yearly updates to the GT-R and new details are emerging about what might be in store for the 2014 model.

According to owners, the 2014 GT-R will be introduced on November 2nd and go on sale in Japan two weeks later. It will reportedly feature minor styling updates and an improved cabin with new trim.

The twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine is expected to retain its current output of 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp) and 632 Nm (466 lb-ft) of torque, but it could be retuned to deliver more power at lower levels. It could also be connected to an improved gearbox which may enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.

Besides being slightly quicker, the GT-R could feature new frame reinforcements and a retuned suspension for better ride comfort.
