Jaguar's global brand director has confirmed the company is considering several new models.

Speaking with AutoCar, Adrian Hallmark said the introduction of the F-Type has allowed the company to begin considering new additions to their product lineup. As he explained, "We were a founder member of the sports car club. Without a sports car in our range, it has been possible for people to lose orientation about what Jaguar stands for."

Hallmark acknowledged an entry-level sedan and crossover are prime candidates for production but said "Whatever we do will be driven by the three pillars of our brand: innovation, design and performance leadership."

The executive also hinted the next-generation XK will offer better performance and a higher price tag. Noting that most XKs are sold as R or R-S variants, Hallmark said it "seems logical to grow the car in that direction."
