Porsche is considering a production version of the Panamera Sport Turismo concept.
Speaking with Automotive News, board member Bernhard Maier said "it is getting more likely that we will do such a car." He added the car will be shown at customer clinics, in the United States and China, to gain additional feedback.
As we have previously reported, the Panamera Sport Turismo features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, an electric motor and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. This gives the model a combined output of 416 HP (306 kW) which enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than six seconds and travel over 30 km (18.6 miles) on electricity alone.
