GM has revealed an official photo of a camouflaged 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, before the car enters production next year.

Although the car you see in this picture is wearing camouflage this isn’t a spy photo because it’s been released by General Motors. Despite being an official image, the new generation Chevrolet Silverado will go into production next year and it will be sold as a 2014MY.

According to AutomotiveNews, the full-size pickup truck was shown in its final production phase at an event in Las Vegas to some of the dealers who mentioned that the new Silverado will be approximately 3-4 inches taller than the current model and will adopt a “brawnier look”. In addition, the extended-cab model will feature regular rear doors.

We previously reported that the new Silverado is expected to get a range-topping High Country variant which is rumored to have a “western flair” and custom leather upholstery. Various sources are indicating that it will cost about $50,000 and will feature various goodies such as heated/cooled seats and GPS navigation.
