BMW has announced the introduction of a limited-run X1 that will go on sale this November. Created in collaboration with ski manufacturer K2, this special edition combines the package of the xLine with aluminum roof rails and a storage package that includes a front armrest. It is offered with a 460 roof box with the base support system, all-weather floor mats, ski and snowboard bag, along with a fitted luggage compartment mat.

Those who decide to buy this special X1 will also get a pair of K2 LTD Powder Ride skis that are available exclusively with the car. This special edition is available for the X1 xDrive28i and also for the X1 xDrive35i. It is offered with 18-inch alloys, door still strips, fabric/leather upholstery, ambient lightning and a sports steering wheel.

As for the BMW Concept K2 Powder Ride, this represents a three-year collaboration between BMW and K2, bringing an exclusive roof structure and various upgrades inside the cabin. It features a Valencia Orange metallic paint complemented by the graphics inspired from the K2 ski.

Compared to the standard model, there are an additional 8 millimeters of suspension travel, with the car riding on 19-inch alloy wheels in Ferric Grey with polished spokes. We also notice the dark tinted windows, Ferric Grey trim for the front and rear sills and the side skirts, as well as matt black roof rails.
