SssangYong has released additional photos of the e-XIV concept, a follow-up to the XIV-1 and XIV-2.

About two weeks ago, SsangYong released the first three photos with the e-XIV concept and now they have fully revealed this hybrid electric crossover. This is a follow-up to the company’s XIV-1 and XIV-2 concepts and its name comes from Electric-eXciting user-Interface Vehicle.

The crossover is fitted with a range-extender hybrid powertrain consisting of an electric motor that drives the wheels and a gasoline engine which fills up the batteries. The vehicle is 4160mm long, 1790mm wide and it is 1575mm tall, with a 2600mm wheelbase. The glass roof features solar cell panels that can generate free solar energy.

There are no details at the moment regarding a production version based on this concept.
