According to a recent report, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will gain a new range-topping High Country variant to battle the Ford F-150 King Ranch and Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn.
Essentially a bow-tie version of the GMC Sierra Denali, the luxurious new model is rumored to have a "Western flair" and unique leather upholstery. Little else is known about the truck, but it could cost approximately $50,000 and come equipped with high-end amenities such as GPS navigation and heated / cooled seats.
The model is reportedly a response to dealers who have been clamoring for a high-end Chevrolet pickup. As one dealership owner told Automotive News, "It's something we've been asking for, for a long time. We don't have a distinctive premium pickup."
