Speaking at this morning's launch of Boxster production in Osnabrück, Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller revealed the company will be taking a more cautious approach to future investments.

Noting that sales could fall 5-10 percent below internal targets for 2013, Mueller said the company will reduce spending and look for ways to cut costs. The executive also said Porsche will reduce production and could delay a "project" or two.

Mueller declined to elaborate on what could be delayed, but it would likely be a model that is in the early stages of development. This could mean it is the next-generation Panamera, but nothing is official as of yet.
