Jaguar has been teasing the F-Type for months, but the first official image has apparently leaked to the web ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
The first picture of the Jaguar F-Type has apparently leaked to the web ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Posted by spy photographer Chris Doane, the image reveals the convertible will be heavily influenced by the C-X16 concept which debuted at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show. The overall design looks a little busy but the car features LED-infused headlights, an oval grille and a ventilated hood. We can also see front fenders vents, sport seats and rollover bars.
As we have previously reported, the F-Type will be offered with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 340 PS (250 kW / 335 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque as well as 380 PS (279 kW / 375 hp) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. There will also be a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that develops anywhere from 510 PS (375 kW / 503 hp) to 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp).
