Hyundai has announced plans to introduce a three-door i30 at the Paris Motor Show.

Set to complement the five-door hatchback and wagon, the model has a familiar design but adopts a new rear bumper, a revised grille and 16-inch alloy wheels. There's also a sloping roofline and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.

Under the hood, four different engines will be available. Detailed specifications were not released, but one of the options is a 1.6-liter diesel that produces 128 PS (94 kW / 126 hp) and has CO2 emissions of 97 g/km.

The three-door i30 will be unveiled on September 27th, so stay tuned for full details.
