Yesterday Kia started selling the second generation of the cee’d Sportswagon in UK, with prices beginning at £16,895 OTR. For this money you get the entry-level 1.4 CRDi model with 89 hp (66 kW) and 162 lb-ft (220 Nm) of torque, being capable of returning 67.3 mpg UK and with CO2 emissions standing at 109 g/km.
The new model is 15mm longer, 40mm lower and 10mm narrower than the previous SW and can provide a luggage capacity of 528 liters with the seats up or 1642 liters if the seats are folded flat. It has a 60:40 split rear seat configuration and the boot floor is flush with the tailgate opening. The more premium models come with sliding aluminum luggage area rails, a high-level luggage barrier net, while the roof rails are standard on all models.
Some of the new features of the cee’d Sportswagon include automatic lights and wipers, heated steering wheel, electronic parking brake, dual zone climate control and a 10-way adjustable driver’s memory seat. Standard safety equipment includes electronic stability control, hill-start assist control, vehicle stability management and six airbags.
