Peugeot will be bringing to the Paris Motor Show the production version of the 208 XY.

Back in March at the Geneva Motor Show we saw the Peugeot 208 XY concept and now we have learned from the French automaker that there will be a production model. The car will be shown at the end of this month during the Paris Motor Show where Peugeot will also bring the recently announced 208 GTi.

The XY is considered as a more premium version of the 208 as it comes with chromed mirror caps, front grille, fog lamp surrounds, window trim and rear apron trim. Special decals for the roof are available as an extra option while inside the cabin some of the surfaces are wrapped in leather with contrasting stitching.

There's also Alcantara on the center parts of the sport seats, as well as bespoke mats and aluminum pedals. Customers have many optional features to choose from, including full interior leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof, automatic parking system and a seven-inch touchscreen with navigation.

As far as the engines are concerned, the Peugeot 208 XY is offered with one of the following:

• 1.6 e-HDi 92 FAP, 5-speed manual gearbox, 98g of CO2/km
• 1.6 e-HDi 92 FAP, 6-speed piloted gearbox, 98g of CO2/km
