Suzuki presented at the Moscow Motor Show the facelift for the aging Grand Vitara.

The current generation of the Suzuki Grand Vitara has entered production back in 2005 and now it has received a welcomed facelift. Known as the Escudo in its domestic market, the updated Grand Vitara is on display at the Moscow Motor Show. Perhaps the biggest change is in the front where we notice the new look of the grille, along with black headlamp bezels, chrome side moldings and new choices for 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Suzuki mentions in the press release which you’ll find below that the front under garnish is manufactured from SSPP – Suzuki Super Polypropylene, a resin material developed by the company that is about 10 percent lighter than the current polypropylene.

Along with this facelift, the Japanese automaker has also introduced the Vitara X-Adventure special edition which is being offered exclusively in a Bison Brown Pearl Metallic finish. It rides on 18-inch alloys and comes with a chrome grille and a privacy glass. Inside it sports a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, as well as suede upholstery.
