Toyota Motorsport has unveiled their new GT 86 CS-V3 race car.

Designed to compete in the V3 class of the VLN series, the model was "packaged as an entry-level race car for easy maintenance, low running costs and great fun."

The car is based on the GT 86 but features high-performance brakes, a racing exhaust and a track-focused suspension. Engineers also stiffened the chassis and optimized the weight distribution.

Power is provided by a 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) engine - likely the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit from the standard model.

Orders are currently being accepted and German pricing starts at €38,500 ($47,850 / £30,355) - excluding VAT.
