Lamborghini has confirmed that the Sesto Elemento and Urus models will make an appearance at 2012 Pebble Beach
At this year's Monterey Classic Car Week, Lamborghini will showcase the spectacular Sesto Elemento concept and the Urus SUV concept as well. The Italian carmaker has previously confirmed that they plan on producing 20 units of the $2.2 million Sesto Elemento. This car was seen for the first time in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show and it will borrow the engine from the LP 570-4 while the bodywork will be the same seen in the concept car. It will suffer a few modifications in order to meet the road safety guidelines.
As for the Urus SUV, Lamborghini introduced it earlier this year at the Beijing Motor Show, but they don't plan on launching a production version until 2017. The company believes that the management team will give the green light for production before the end of this year. If it will be produced, Lamborghini will make about 3,000 units / year, which would double the number of cars sold per year by the Italian brand. No official details about the price tag, but various sources are indicating that it could cost somewhere around 180,000 Euros, before the taxes kick in.
