New details are starting to emerge about Nismo's upcoming product lineup.
Speaking with Auto Express, Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer said "Normal Nismo versions will get a power hike of around 15 percent, but the focus will be more on distinctive styling with the red highlights. We'll also tune the suspension and steering, so customers can get more out of the power they have."
The first such model will be the Juke Nismo which goes on sale early next year. It will eventually be joined by Nismo versions of the Leaf, GT-R and 370Z.
Later on, Nissan will introduce Nismo RS models. According to Palmer, they "will be much more track-focused. You've seen the Juke R, so maybe that would be a good place to start."
He declined to go into specifics, but the magazine is reporting there will be a Juke Nismo RS with a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that develops 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS). We can also expect RS variants of the GT-R and next-generation 370Z.
