Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) has announced plans to offer two new entry-level models called the Clubsport and Maloo.

Based on the Commodore and Ute, the cars are distinguished by an aggressive front fascia, a ventilated hood and LED daytime running lights. There's also high-performance brakes and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited, but the models feature sport seats, dual-zone climate control and an infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display.

Both models are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 425 hp (317 kW / 431 PS) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It can be connected to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Maloo starts at $59,000 AUD, while the Clubsport goes for $65,000 AUD.
