Our spy photographers have already caught the 2014 BMW M3 on multiple occasions, but new details are starting to emerge about the highly-anticipated model.

Autoweek is reporting the sedan will be previewed by a thinly-veiled concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. A few months later, the production model will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Available exclusively as a sedan (the coupe and convertible will be renamed the M4), the M3 is excepted feature a number of aluminum body parts including the hood and doors. There will also be an aerodynamic body kit with an aggressive front fascia and a rear diffuser.

Power will likely be provided by a twin- or tri-turbocharged six-cylinder engine that develops approximately 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 474 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque. It will reportedly be connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which is similar to the one used in the M5.
