Mercedes is reportedly considering an SLS AMG E-Cell Roadster.
According to De Telegraaf, sales of the coupe will start this fall but the company doesn't know how many consumers are actually interested in the model. If coupe proves unsuccessful, a roadster could be built if there is more interest in the open top body style.
As we have previously reported, the SLS AMG E-Cell has four electric motor that produce a combined output of 533 PS (392 kW / 526 hp) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.
