Lotus has unveiled their new Evora GX race car.

Designed to compete in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, the car features an aerodynamic body kit, a rear wing and yellow headlights. There's also Plexiglass windows, a roll cage and a new fuel filler system. Additionally, the doors, roof and engine cover are made from carbon fiber.

Power comes from a 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 440 hp (328 kW / 446 PS) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission which should ensure the 1,150 kg (2,535 lb) race car is fast enough to tackle the competition.

The Evora GX will be built to order and pricing starts at $335,000 (€276,335 / £216,200).
