Audi has opened the doors on the very first all-digital showroom, right in the heart of London. Located close to Piccadilly Circus, the relatively small showroom aims to show every single Audi model in virtual digital form.

What this new concept allows Audi to do, is have every single mode, with every different option and specification available to customers to view in photo realistic 3D in 1:1 scale. In any normal showroom the dealership is limited to the amount of models it can fit in the available space, which means usually they end up having huge showrooms that cost a great deal to build and maintain.

These smaller showrooms enable Audi to have showrooms in the busiest parts of cities where a large building wouldn’t be financially viable. Customers can now visit a clean, uncluttered showroom and specify their perfect Audi and visualise it fully right in front of their eyes.

"Audi City combines the best of two worlds – digital product presentation and personal contact with the dealer,” says Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at Audi AG. “This new retail format brings us even closer to our customers – geographically, of course, but first and foremost in terms of the quality of our relationship. Audi City offers new freedom for tailor-made services and an even more individual contact with the customer."
