Two time Formula One World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, drove his self titled Infiniti FX Vettel Edition fro the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed held this past weekend.

The Infiniti FX Vettel drove is the very first unit out of a limited production batch of 50 units slated for Western Europe, 200 units in total for Europe and the Middle East.

Playing a role in the limited edition's development, Vettel said after his first drive, "We gave the FX a little bit of an edge here and there. I gave my input and I think if you look at the result you can see the difference. I'm happy."

The Infiniti FX Vettel Edition features an aggressive body kit, lightweight components and a sport-tuned suspension that lowers ride height. Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 420 PS (309 kW / 414 hp). 0-100 km/h arrives in 5.6 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Infiniti states demand is strong for the special model as several units are already sold. Prices start from £100,800 in the UK (from €125,000 in mainland Europe, depending on country).
