Shelby American has unveiled the 2013 GT350.

Available as a coupe or convertible, the updated model features Recaro seats, a new rear valance, restyled wheels and an extended color palette. The car can also be equipped with an optional panoramic glass roof.

Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 430 hp (321 kW / 436 PS). If that's not enough, the engine can be equipped with a supercharger that enables it to develop 525 hp (391 kW / 532 PS) or 624 hp (465 kW / 633 PS). A six-speed manual is standard, but a six-speed automatic is optional on cars equipped with the naturally-aspirated V8.

Customers can also order a one-piece driveshaft, a cold air intake, high-performance brakes and a color-coordinated billet aluminum engine cap set.

Production will be limited to 350 units and pricing starts at $26,995 (€21,305 / £17,210) - not including the base price of the Ford Mustang GT.
