Built Ford tough, but luxuriously appointed is the new F-150 Limited - a rolling oxymoron that will most likely be as popular as chocolate covered bacon in the US.

Ford first recognized the growing trend for "pickup luxury" back in 1999 with the Harley-Davidson F-150 special edition. Since then, the western-themed King Ranch F-150 in 2001 followed by the contemporary Platinum F-150 in 2009 set the standard. Now, the F-150 Limited surpasses all of these with a new level of refinement and technology.

"The F-150 Limited signifies the highest levels of design refinement, luxury and technology that we've ever offered in a Built Ford Tough pickup truck," said Ford Group Vice President for Product Development, Raj Nair. "The F-150 Limited reflects a growing trend - more and more customers today have high expectations for luxury and convenience, yet their needs call for a truly capable truck."

As demographics collide, the F-150 Limited offers on the outside body-color front and rear bumpers, front bumper valance, sideview mirror caps, wheel-lip molding, upper fascia with grille surround, unique 22-inch polished aluminum wheels and high-gloss three-stage exterior finishes. Technology as standard features SYNC with MyFord Touch, 8-inch LCD screen, navigation with SiriusXM Travel Link, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear view camera and HID headlamps - a segment first. Interior details include red and black full-grain leather, aluminum and piano black finishes, cooled and heated memory seats, four-way-adjustable headrests and a power-sliding rear window which has privacy tint and defrost functionality.

The F-150 Limited is powered by Ford's 3.5-liter Ti-VCT EcoBoost engine which produces 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque at 2,500 rpm. Up to 90 percent of peak torque is available from 1700 rpm to 5000 rpm through an electronic six-speed automatic transmission.

Available only as a SuperCrew four-door cab, F-150 Limited deliveries start this fall.
