According to reports out of Germany and Japan, Toyota will supply BMW with hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell technology.

BMW and Toyota have already announced plans to share diesel engines and co-develop lithium-ion batteries, but new details are starting to emerge about their ever expanding partnership.

According to reports out of Germany and Japan, Toyota will supply BMW with hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell technology. Additional information is limited, but sources suggest the deal could help lower the production costs of the fuel saving systems.

An official announcement could be made later this week.
