Tauro Sport Auto has unveiled their new V8 Spider.

Based on the Pontiac Solstice (aka Saturn Sky, Opel GT and Daewoo G2X), the model features bespoke bodywork which borrows a few cues from the Fisker Karma and Alfa Romeo C8 Competizione.

Unfortunately, the interior is straight out of the GM parts bin. The only notable exceptions are a leather-wrapped dashboard, Alcantara trim and an aluminum gear knob on models equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.

Power comes from a GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 440 PS (324 kW / 434 hp) and 586 Nm (432 lb-ft) of torque. The company also offers a couple of performance packages which boost the engine's output to 480 PS (353 kW / 473 hp), 530 PS (390 kW / 523 hp) and more than 650 PS (478 kW / 641 hp).

Production will be limited to 30 units and pricing will start at approximately €100,000 ($125,740 / £80,590).
