Vauxhall has added a new engine to the Corsa line-up and launched it with a special "Black Edition" model.
The engine is a turbocharged 1.4-liter unit featuring stop/start technology and generates 120 PS (88 kW / 116 hp) and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) of torque. It allows the Corsa to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 9.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h) while emissions are rated at 129 g/km.
The Corsa Black Edition also features a black logo bar, as well as a body-colored front lower spoiler, side sills, rear lower skirt, rear spoiler and a set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside the cabin are sports seats, a leather covered steering wheel and sports pedals.
Just 500 units of the Black Edition will be made available with pricing starting at £15,995 for the 3-door and £16,425 for the 5-door version.
