We've already heard reports that Jaguar was developing a track-focused XKR-S, but here are the first photos of the upcoming model.
Recently snapped at the Nürburgring, the pictures reveal the car will feature an aerodynamic body kit with a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, canards and a ventilated hood. We can also see high-performance brakes and a prominent rear wing.
While it's hard to see the interior, our spy photographer says the cabin has "full-on racing seats" up front. However, the rear seats have been jettisoned to reduce weight. The prototype also has a roll cage, but it remains unclear if it will carryover to the production model.
Power could be provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 600 PS (441 kW / 592 hp). This is 50 PS (37 kW / 49 hp) more than the standard model which accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
