Holden has released the first picture of the 2013 Trax, ahead of its launch next year.

Essentially a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Trax, the Holden variant is distinguished by a revised grille which prominently features the company's logo.

Specifications haven't been announced, but Holden says the five-seat crossover will have class-leading technology and plenty of cargo space. Sales Director John Elsworth also promised the model will "deliver the flexibility, great fuel economy, advanced safety features and car-like handling that more and more customers are looking for in today's SUVs."

The Chevrolet Trax will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, so expect to learn more about the Holden variant later this year.
