The winners of the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este have been announced in Lake Como, Italy.

Top honors went to David Cohen's 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS which won the prestigious Coppa d'Oro Villa d'Este award for best in show by public referendum.

Other winners included René Rey's 1935 Avions Voisin C 25 which was named best preserved pre war-car as selected by a jury. Similarly, Mark Finburgh's 1969 Porsche 917/K was dubbed the best preserved post war-car.

The jury also praised Lionel Scotto le Massese's 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe as best iconic car, while Paul van Doorne's 1975 Lamborghini LP 400 Countach was heralded for having the most exciting design.
