Peugeot has released the first photos and initial details of the all-new 301 before it is unveiled in the flesh at the Paris Motor Show in September. The compact sedan has been created primarily for developing markets and is also the first model to benefit from Peugeot's new naming strategy.
The Peugeot 301 measures 4440cm long, offers 506 liters of storage capacity in the trunk and has been designed to cope with the different driving conditions and climates in many different countries.
Engine options are all three-cylinder units and range from an entry level 1.2-liter VTi with 71bhp(52kW) up to a 1.6-liter VTi unit producing 115bhp(85kW). A 1.6-liter HDi unit with 92bhp(92kW) lies in between.
The new model will arrive in Turkish showrooms in November before heading to other markets soon after, pricing is yet to be announced.
