Seat are using the Wörthersee festival in Austria to showcase race cars based on the Ibiza and Leon. Both come with a special grey livery that is complimented by flourescent orange paint on the wheels, mirrors and roll cage.

Seat Ibiza SC Trophy

The Ibiza SC Trophy is based on its namesake production car and comes with a turbocharged 1.4-liter TSI engine that develops 180 PS (132 kW / 178 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The same engine was recently seen in the Ibiza Cupra Concept that was unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show and is also making an appearance at the Wörthersee festival.

It also features a 7-speed DSG transmission, racing suspension, a modified oil sump, an upgraded braking system and a set of 18-inch wheels while the interior has been stripped out and replaced with a roll cage.

The Ibiza SC Trophy race car is described as an ideal starting machine for amateur racing drivers and will cost €31,500 (excl. taxes).

Seat Leon Super Copa

The Seat Leon Copa is a race car in almost every sense of the word. Aggression reeks right from the low riding front end right through to the massive rear diffuser and rear spoiler.

It is based on its sibling that competes in the WTCC (World Touring Car Championships) and generates its personality from an upgraded version of the Leon Cupra R's 2.0-liter TSI unit. Power output is rated at 300PS (221kW / 296hp) and 340Nm (251lb-ft) of torque which is passed to the wheels via a six-speed DSG transmission system.

Pricing for the Seat Leon Super Copa cup car will start at €63,000 (excl. taxes).
