European dealerships will be treatd to the first examples of the new Audi RS6 Avant by the end of the year, but U.S. Customers will have to wait until next year.
Before the end of this year we expect to see the official photos of the new Audi RS6 Avant, but until then we have to make do with the various sightings of pre-production prototypes. The latest of these has been caught by our spy photographer, but this time we are able to bring you a video that showcases the model in motion.
The latest RS model will be released in the Avant (estate/wagon) body style, but there are no confirmations that it will be joined by a sedan. Rivals will include the new BMW (F10) M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG which help serve as a performance benchmark.
While the M5 comes with 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp), we expect Audi to bang out a few extra ponies with a final output figure of around 580 PS (427 kW / 572 bhp) from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8.
