Infiniti has introduced the M LWB at the Beijing Motor Show.
Designed to appeal to China's upper-class, the long-wheelbase model rides on a chassis that has been stretched 5.9-inches (150mm). Despite the increased length, the model retains its familiar styling thanks to a sloping roofline and extended rear doors.
Moving on to the interior, the cabin is elegantly equipped with semi-aniline leather upholstery, a Bose audio system and an "auto intake control" system which remove allergens and bacteria from the air. Rear passengers are also treated with reclining seats, a dual-screen entertainment system and separate audio / climate controls.
Under the hood, two different engines are available. The entry-level M25L has a 2.5-liter V6 with 232 hp (173 kW / 235 PS) and 187 lb-ft (253 Nm) of torque, while the M35hL uses a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 with 360 hp (240 kW / 365 PS) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.
The Infiniti M LWBs will go on sale in China in June.
