Daimler and BYD recently joined forces to tackle the Chinese market, they are due to introduce their first model at the Beijing Auto Show next month and sources have now confirmed the brand will be called Denza.

We can also bring you three images that are alleged to be on the table as the new brand logo. The only official confirmation known about the design is that it will resemble a water droplet and the possibilities you see above appear to fit the bill.

The Denza brand is due to consist of a range of electric power vehicles with the first model set to use the underpinnings of the first generation Mercedes B-Class. This platform was chosen because its flat floor structure was designed to use batteries and therefore reduces the costs of development.

The design process of the impending first model has been dominated by the more illustrious German car manufacturer whilst BYD has lent its expertise in the electric drivetrain area. A couple of images leaked last year showing the design and can be seen in the additional photos attached to this article.
