The Nissan DeltaWing experimental racecar got out on the track at Sebring for some demonstration laps last week. In doing so, Nissan relased the first in-car footage as well as some track side shots.

With the potential to revolutionize endurance car racing as we know it, the Nissan DeltaWing aims to achieve lap times between conventional LMP1 and LMP2 machines at Le Mans while maintaining half the power, weight, aerodynamic drag and fuel consumption.

Equipped with Nissan's race-prepared 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing around 300hp (224 kW / 304 PS), the Deltawing will make its race debut at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race this June wearing the number "0" for outside race classifications.
