The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta will inevitably spawn further variants. We speculated on the open-top spyder just last week but thanks to a rendering by automotive artist Iacoski we can show you what an extreme track focused version could look like.

The 599 GTB that preceeded the F12 Berlinetta was also treated to a similar model. That was known as the Ferrari 599XX and boasted a power boost from the standard 620PS (456kW / 612hp) up to 730PS (540kW / 720hp). With this in mind we could expect a the F12XX Berlinetta to produce in excess of 800 PS.

Add in the array of performance enhancing and weight reducing parts and we should see a 0-100 kph (0-62mph) time of under 3 seconds.

If Ferrari go ahead with development of the track only model, we wouldn't expect to see it surface in production form for at least 3 years.
