The executive Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class certainly blurred segment lines when first introduced and now Mercedes is ready to give it a wagon variant quite soon. But Mercedes is hardly done with the CLS as it plans to take CLS Shooting Break's dimension down range to a smaller entry-level model speculatively dubbed CLC or CLA.

We've already seen the CLC/CLA sedan prototypes which uses Mercedes-Benz's new Modular Front Architecture (MFA) front-wheel drive platform. However, as reportedly confirmed for production, Mercedes also wants to make a wagon or Shooting Break variant of the CLC/CLA as well.

The Mercedes CLC/CLA sedan is rumored to debut at the New York auto show this April. However, recent reports state a market launch isn't expected until 2015 so don't expect to see a CLC Shooting Break until then, if not later.
