The rendering attempts to strip back the camouflage and show the key design elements such as the grille, headlights and bumper as well as the side body character lines.

While the grille looks freshly plucked from the F700 Reseach Vehicle, the headlamps appear roughly similar to those found on the CLS-Class.

Engine options will be the usual suspects, although with improved fuel efficiency and emissions. These should include a 250 CDI, a S350 CDI, a S300 Bluetec hybrid and S400 Bluetec hybrid. The S500 (aka S550), S600, S63 AMG and S65 AMG will also remaining in the line-up.

Other variants following the S-Class sedan include a long-wheelbase sedan and reunited S-Class coupe, currently known as the CL-Class, in addition to a cabriolet model and an ultra-luxurious Pullman that replaces the Maybach brand.
