Toyota has announced that the new 2013 Venza will have its North American debut at the New York Auto Show next month and an initial image has been released to tease the model.

The facelifted crossover is getting a restyled front fascia that incorporates new upper and lower grille, headlights and fog lamps. Furthermore, Toyota has mentioned that the taillights will also get an update and the Venza will get new optional external colors: Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl, and Cosmic Gray Mica.

The current Venza is available with either a 2.7 liter four-cylinder or a range topping 3.5 liter V6 with 268 hp ( 200 kW / 272 PS ). There are no details on whether these power units will benefit from additional tuning, but we should at least expect a boost to fuel economy and emissions figures.

Full details are expected to be released prior to its unveiling on April 4th.
